Aroara Productions

Effective Date: 5 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aroara Productions (ABN 13 644 564 652), trading as Aroara Productions ("we", "us" or "our"), collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information.

Who We Are and How You Can Contact Us

We are Aroara Productions, based in Queensland, Australia. We are committed to protecting your privacy and upholding your rights when you use this Site. This Privacy Policy applies to the products and/or services we provide on our Site, briebostock.com ("Site"), and our social media channels. It explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose your data in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and forms part of our Website Terms & Conditions. This Privacy Policy does not cover information you submit on other websites, even if we communicate with you there. For example, if you post on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok or YouTube, that information is governed by that platform’s own privacy policy, not this one.

You can contact us for privacy-related questions by emailing brie@aroaraproductions.com.

We handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and any other applicable Australian legislation, regulations, guidelines or standards governing personal data.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. You can read how Google collects and processes data, and how to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, via Google’s own resources (links to be added).

Our use of Google Analytics may include display advertising and remarketing. You may see our ads elsewhere on the internet because we use cookies to optimise and serve ads based on your past visits to our Site. When you visit our Site, Google Analytics helps us connect your browsing behaviour with other data you have previously provided to us in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Facebook Insights

We use Facebook Insights to track interaction with our Facebook page, understand usage and improve the page’s performance, and to better understand the customer experience so we can improve our products and services. You can review Facebook’s privacy policy and manage your ad preferences directly through Facebook.

Choosing Not to Provide Personal Data

You can choose not to provide us with personal data. If you do, we won’t be able to provide you with our products or services, but you can still browse our Site.

Turning Off Cookies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to provide certain functionality. You can turn off or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, you can still use the Site, but some features may not work as well.

Marketing

We will always tell you why we are collecting your personal information and whether we intend to use it for marketing. Where required by law, and where third parties are involved, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing communications. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

At present, we do not send newsletters or regular marketing emails. If we introduce these in future, you will only receive them if you’ve subscribed or otherwise given consent where required.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

  • contacting us via the enquiries page on our website; or

  • using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.

Your Rights

You can exercise your rights at any time by contacting us via the enquiries page on briebostock.com.

Accessing Information We Hold About You

We will provide the information you request within 30 days, unless doing so would adversely affect the rights of others (for example, another person’s confidentiality or intellectual property). If we can’t comply with your request, we’ll tell you why.

Inaccurate Information

You can contact us to correct any information we hold about you that you believe is inaccurate.

Objections to Profiling or Automated Decisions

We may use your personal information to understand how visitors use our Site and to improve our products and services. We do not make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Beyond that, we only use this data to provide our products and services to you.

The Right to Be Forgotten

You can ask us to erase your data. We will delete all information we hold about you, except where we’re required to retain it for legal reasons.

Making a Complaint

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, please contact us via our enquiry page. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can seek a review from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Security of the Data We Collect

We know our clients trust us to protect their data. While we can’t guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from us, we take this seriously and maintain reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, including:

  • storing electronic data with reputable third-party providers who apply appropriate security protections;

  • limiting access to personal information to those who need it;

  • using PCI DSS-compliant payment providers; and

  • not storing your payment details ourselves.

Where We Store Data

We use service providers based in Australia. If we transfer personal data outside Australia, we’ll ensure your privacy rights remain protected by requiring those providers to apply the same or similar safeguards.

How Long We Store Data For

We keep your data for as long as we need it, which depends on your interactions with us and the purpose for which it was collected. If you've made a purchase, we keep a record for as long as required for invoicing and tax purposes. We may also retain your contact details for longer where this allows us to stay in touch with you, unless you ask us to update, remove or stop using that information.

Third Parties Who Access Your Data

We share data with third parties in the following circumstances:

  • other companies in our group, as necessary to operate our Site;

  • our suppliers and service providers, including:

    • payment processors (for example, Stripe, PayPal, Xero or Shopify);

    • website hosting providers;

    • booking and scheduling platforms;

    • video conferencing platforms (for example, Zoom);

    • cloud storage providers; and

    • social media and analytics platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads

  • our professional and legal advisers, including accountants and lawyers;

  • third parties engaged in fraud prevention and detection;

  • law enforcement or other government authorities, where required by law; and

  • any other third party where you have given consent, or where we are otherwise legally permitted to do so.

These providers only receive the personal information reasonably necessary to perform their services, and are required to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Payment Security

All real-time credit card authorisations are handled by secure third-party gateway providers. The following measures protect your data:

  • payments are fully automated with an immediate response;

  • your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by us or any outside party;

  • all transaction data is encrypted for storage within our third-party gateway provider’s bank-grade data centre;

  • our third-party gateway provider is an authorised processor for all major Australian banks; and

  • our third-party gateway provider never touches your funds — money is transferred directly from your card to our merchant account.

We work with well-established third-party gateway providers to keep your payment information secure. While no security system is perfect and we can’t promise your information will remain secure in all circumstances, we take reasonable steps to protect it at every stage.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organisations that handle branded credit cards from major schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information across our Site and service providers.

Age of Consent

By using this Site, you warrant that you are at least the age of majority in your State or Territory of residence. Our Site should not be used by anyone under the age of majority, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

Cookies and How to Block Them

"Cookies" are data files placed on your device, often including an anonymous unique identifier. They help us analyse website traffic, understand how visitors use our Site and improve your browsing experience, and, where applicable, support advertising and analytics provided by trusted third parties. They do not harm your systems, and your browser’s help function will explain how to restrict or block them. For more information, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. If you block all cookies, you may not be able to access all or parts of our Site.

Web Beacons

We may use web beacons (also known as clear GIFs) to understand how visitors interact with our content and to improve our Site’s performance. If we send marketing emails in future, they may also contain web beacons that let us see whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. Any such marketing communications will only be sent with your consent where required by law, and you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and your use of this Site are governed by the laws of Australia. This applies regardless of the country from which you access our Site or receive our services, including clients located in the United States, Europe, the Middle East or elsewhere.

Updates to Our Privacy Policy

Please check this Privacy Policy periodically, as we may update it from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The current "Effective Date" will always be shown at the top of this Privacy Policy, so you know you’re reading the latest version.
